Genuine front subframe for dry suspension cars only before 1976 which did not have the rubber mounted subframe. This has 2 tower bolts (21A90) per tower to bulkhead fixing. Electrocoated finished for maximum protection and looks.
Towing eye that fits in place of the bolt holding the front panel to the subframe. For stronger later version see KPU100160.When using certain accessory tow bars make sure the towing eye is in the right position to suit or it will snap off. Suggest you do not use solid type tow bars.
There are 2 of these long high tensile bolts in the tower of the front subframe on Pre 1976 cars to hold it in place on the bulkhead. Do not forget to renew the locktab 21A1470 on these bolts. Not suitable for hydrolastic cars see HBZ534.
Rondelle frein de vis Superieures de bearceau avant 1959-1976
Fitted to rubber mounted subframes from 1976 on this packing piece goes between the front panel and the subframe mounting points. You might be surprised how many of these were fitted to your car when it came out the factory. When replacing the front panel or mountings you should repack them accordingly. They are open end shaped to slide in over the bolt
Can use later subframe KGB10027 but it moves engine forward .5" (12.7mm)which gave extra clearance for 1275 engine anciliaries. Upper engine stabiliser should be changed to 21A1817 or use adjustable type and lower brackets might need modifying.
This bolt is not likely to break, but very prone to rust. (Washer not included.)
2 of these rubber mountings are fitted at the front of the front subframe on all vehicles from 1976(mk4) on. To help stabilise steering by stopping subframe movement. We do many equivalents so see our accessory catalogue, also see 21A2624MS.
