Fitted from 1990 on Carb cars only with lead free petrol size neck, but willl fit any non injected cars. The ARP1043 tank fitted from 1976 on had the neck without restrictor as it was produced for cars before lead free petrol became law.
Smaller aperture neck for lead free petrol this 7.5 gallon tank has both pump and sender unit holes for injection cars only.Some people use this tank for turbo applications however. This replaces the SPI tank WFE10401 but the neck is shorter on MPI models and the thinner neck seal WGG100010 should be used.
This genuine tank fits all the long wheel base Minis, except for the very early side-tank wagon. Fuel tank sender unit for saloons up from 1964 to 1992 when a voltage stabiliser was fitted.1964 built cars could have had a similar locking ring type but if no voltage stabiliser fitted on back of speedo they fitted a ARA959 which is obsolete. XNB10007 does not include sealing ring or locking ring.
